Old rivals Avondhu Lady and Our Girl Salley (4/1 first quote into 15/8) fought out the finish to the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Handicap Chase with the former prevailing by half a length at Fairyhouse.
Mark Enright rode the victor for David Fenton and herself and Our Girl Salley left Glibin all of thirteen lengths behind in third.
Fenton said: "She's improving all the time. I thought she had a reasonable chance at the weights.
"There wasn't much between her and Our Girl Salley on their last two runs and she was getting a little pull today.
"I was delighted with her coming into the race. She's tough and we'll stick to the mares races.
"Three miles is her trip." (GC & EM)
