La Canaada signs off for the year in style
La Canaada sees it out well under Connor King at Cork

With big morning market mover Breezolini a non-runner having been injured in transit, the Social Package Handicap at Cork lost some of its appeal but La Canaada ran out a good winner under Connor King for trainer Harry Rogers.
Of course local rider King is profitable to follow at this venue after his huge-priced four-timer in August 2013 and here he had La Canaada in front up the centre from the start.
He asked the Antonius Pius mare for more two furlongs out and she kept on well from over a furlong out to see off Enter The Red by two and a quarter lengths.
Rogers stated: "That's her ground, and we were lucky the rain came in time. Connor pinched a few lengths on them and gave her a good ride.
"Hopefully there is another one or two in her but that's it for this year." (AM & EM)
