Kyle does Ross a good turn at Navan
The second division of the Kilberry Maiden Hurdle provided Co Antrim trainer Eyssen Ross with her first winner under rules as Kyle's Turn scored under Sonny Carey.
THe seven-year-old travelled well into the straight and was left in front at the second last following the fall of long time leader Oklahoma Jack but asserted well under a confident ride confirming heavy market support beforehand (25/1 - 10/1).
Ross, who is a daughter of the well known Willie Rooney, said afterwards, "He just had a wee virus after he last ran over Christmas and he just gradually got over it."
