Favourite backers cheered Knock Beauty home and the 9/4 shot kept on best to land the bets by two and a quarter lengths in the two and a half mile handicap chase.
This win continued trainer Robert Tyner’s red-hot form as he now has five victories in the last two weeks.
Knock Beauty had taken the glory on her last outing in a Thurles handicap chase. She got hit with a 10lb hike in the handicap for that, but jockey Ger Fox offset 7lbs of that with his claim.
Knock Beauty moved well as she challenged for the lead at the second last. A quick jump over the last and she was able to scoot up the hill to always hold Crowded Room (7/1). Notimetoserve was a further half a length in arrears back in third at 10/1 (from 25s in the morning and an opening show of 16s at the track).
Ger Fox said: “He jumped brilliantly and he had loads left. They went plenty quick enough down the back and Robert said not to hit the front too soon.”
