Kitten strikes for Roche
Kildare Kitten wore down front-runner Bleuker inside the final furlong to claim the mile-and-a-half handicap at Tramore.
Leigh Roche got a good tune from the American-bred filly to forge ahead in the closing stages for a three-parts-of-a-length success. Goldplated finished well to grab second spot from the long-time leader.
"It's nice to see her get her head in front," said Tom Keogh, representing trainer Dermot Weld.
"Hopefully she can progress from this now. Leigh gave her a great ride."
