Kinane wins aboard Carrig Girl

The John Oxx trained Carrig Girl justified favouritism when running out a 1 ½ length win of The Freshford Maiden under Mick Kinane in the familiar colours of Michael O'Flynn.

Kinane raced the daughter of Nayef in behind the leaders, took closer order approaching straight, challenged 2f out and kept on well to lead from over a furlong out and deny the Mags Mullins trained Bannow Rose by 1 ½ lengths.
