Michael Kinane was seen to good effect when coming home in front of The Fun For Kids Maiden aboard 9/10 favourite Big Game Hunter in the colours of Neil Jones.

Winning trainer John Oxx said afterwards, "That was a hard slog. He stays well and being by Saddler's Wells he gets through the ground. He will probably go for handicap next, we will see what kind of a mark he gets."
