Jockey Mikey Fogarty maintained his 100% strike-rate for trainer Henry De Bromhead when steering Killinely Court to win the SANSERV Rated Novice Chase at Galway today.
Fogarty was Killiney Court rsquo;s regular rider when the gelding was based with now retired Colm Murphy and followed up last month’s Tipperary success on the son of King’s Theatre. Today Fogarty made all on Killiney Court to comfortably beat off 11/8 favourite Just Cause
Afterwards De Bromhead stated “Mikey gave him a super ride and he jumped great and I’m delighted for his owners the Bambricks.
“He’s as genuine as you can get, keeps improving and is a lovely horse.
“He wouldn’t handle soft ground and had been busy all summer but I’ll speak to Martin (Bambrick) and see if we give him a break now. He’s still a novice for the spring.”
