Killian collects to give Elliott and Carberry double
St Killian's Run came good to give Gordon Elliott and Paul Carberry a quick double on the card at Thurles this afternoon.
The David Johnson-owned gelding had been fancied on a couple of occasions recently but was recording his first sucess since arriving in Ireland.
The Beneficial gelding tracked the leaders before being nursed into the lead headint to the final flight.
The 5/1 shot galloped on strongly in the closing stages to post a seven-length success over Would You Do That
"He's been trying to win one of these for a while and hopefully he might win another handicap," said Elliott.
"He jumped well and Paul gave him a great ride."
