After Nessun Dorma s smooth win in the 5.50, Willie Mullins and Paul Townend doubled their score at Kilbeggan when odds-on chance Robin Des Foret delivered in the Irish Farmers Journal Novice Hurdle.
The course winning bumper horse made all in this three mile one furlong event, and though he wandered at the business end he still had a length and a quarter in hand over Hidden Charmer at the line.
"He had a look at the stable yard every time coming down past it," said Townend.
"I got it my own way in front, which suited him, and he was having a good look around in front.
"He was awkward enough around there but he got the job done thankfully.
"I know it's a front-runners track but in that ground it's hard to make all there. I thought they were coming to have a go at me but he pulled out another little bit."
