Kerry National on cards for Jack
Paco Jack stayed on dourly down the straight to grab the spoils in the Guinness Handicap Chase at Galway.
Joe Crowley 's charge made up good ground from the second last under Robbie Power to launch his challenge on the run-in and pull clear in the closing stages for a five-length success over Optimus Prime
The winner was following up his success in the Galway Blazers at the Festival meeting.
"He'll go for the Kerry National now," revealed assistant trainer Damien Byrne.
"He won well although he didn't jump wonderful in that ground. He wouldn't want it that heavy."
