Jack Kennedy picked up a seven day ban for his ride on runner-up Crezic in the Great Southern Hotel Beginners Chase at Killarney this afternoon.
The young rider was found to be in 'breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency.'
Below is the full Stewards report:
The Stewards interviewed J.W. Kennedy, rider of Crezic (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f), in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency.
