King Blue recovered from a mistake at the last to get up close home and snatch the spoils in the Follow Limerick on Facebook Handicap Chase.
Jack Kennedy gave the 13/8 favorite a patient ride as he was held up in the early stages of the 2m1f contest.
He made good headway to press front-runner The Shepherd King two from home and looked poised to pounce when hitting the final fence.
The Ross O'Sullivan-trained gelding rallied well on the run-in to get up close home for a half-length victory. Ibetellingyoualie also finished well in third, a further head back.
The winner had been runner-up on his last two outings, most recently when going down by a neck to Mtada Supreme at Clonmel a fortnight ago.
"After he was second at Clonmel the last day, Jack said to drop him back in trip and the downhill finish also helped today,” said O'Sullivan.
"It's great to win another race with him and hopefully there'll be another race for him before the ground dries up."
