Galileo-sired Keats gained a first win at Stakes level in the Listed Navigation Stakes at Cork today scoring for trainer Aidan O'Brien and jockey Seamie Heffernan.
Out of Group 1 winning sprinter Airwave, Keats today improved one placing on his runner-up effort in the Listed Listowel Stakes last Monday when staying on well for a length and a quarter win over Free Solo
Afterwards Heffernan stated "I thought he was unlucky last week but he handles all types of grounds and I wasn't surprised he won.
"He felt like there was more to come from him and he is still unexposed and still babyish. Listen, he has won a Listed race today and he ran very well a few days ago so he is hardy and is up for it now, so I'm happy."
