Keagan shines on Bob
Keagan Latham showed a cool head on Buy Back Bob when bursting through a gap to lead inside the final furlong and claim the concluding Lynn Lodge Stud EBF Race at Navan.
Ger Lyons' charge had to wait as he cruised into contention behind the leaders.
Once the gap came he was soon in command and went on to score by a length from Mister Carter
"That was one of Keagan's coolest rides. He said before that was how he was going to ride him and did it to the letter," said the trainer's brother Shane Lyons.
"I'm delighted the way he did it. He's a lovely big framed horse with a big future in both codes and is by a very honest sire.
"He's a big baby and still not furnished."
