Katie's Loss Liz's Gain
Following Ruby's double, Katie Walsh looked all over a winner on Johnee Joblot going to the last in the Tipperary (Lady Riders) Handicap Hurdle but he ran out leaving Estuary Princess to come out best in a blanket finish under Liz Lalor.
Successful trainer, Eric McNamara said: "She is probably improving a small bit. I felt the handicapper gave her a rating she could win off. She'll go to stud in the spring and then run again in the summer. The owner, Patrick Mahony, from Kilkee, is on holiday in Austria at the moment." (EM)
