Kahuna Never Sees A Rival

Sun 26th Oct 2008, 15:51

Kahuna produced another outstanding front running performance to land the www.galway.ie handicap hurdle in the hands of regular pilot Andrew Thornton.

The winner soon built up a huge lead and despite tiring in the closing stages still had 15 lengths to spare at the finish.

Winning trainer Muredach Kelly said: 'it was our plan to slip the field and Andrew gave him a super ride, he knows the horse very well. This horse has problems with his shoulder and back, but chiropractor Sue Elliot has done a great job with him.'
