There are two Irish meetings today with jumping action at a rescheduled Wexford fixture while Dundalk hosts its regular Friday evening slot under the lights.
Wexford’s two-day October Bank Holiday meeting was cancelled due to waterlogging and the M W Hickey Memorial Chase is now the highlight on this seven-race card beginning at 12.20.
The Listed 2m7f event has five runners going to post with Idas Boy withdrawn due to ground conditions which remain heavy following 3mm of rain overnight.
It will be dry in the south-east this morning but further rain (approximately 3mm) is forecast this afternoon. Bronn looks set to go off at odds-on for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend in the ‘M W Hickey’ with Churchstonewarrior and Minella Crooner among those in opposition.
An eight-race card at Dundalk commences at 4.40pm.
