Jumbo Rio takes opener at Leopardstown
Edward O'Grady and Andrew McNamara were back in the winner's enclosure when landing The Spring Juvenile Hurdle with the Patrick Wilmott owned Jumbo Rio
O'Grady said afterwards, "The decision of the Punchestown Stewards was vindicated here today. He is a lovely horse and we only had him 4 weeks when he won at Punchestown. He doesn't know if he's improved or not but I hope he has. He is a speed horse and hopefully it's upwards from here and he will go The Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham next."
Boyle Sports have quoted Jumbio Rio 12/1 from 16/1 for The Triumph Hurdle.
