Jockeys Davy Russell and Andrew Lynch were injured following an incident at the third last flight in the J.J. Burke Subaru maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe.

Lynch´s mount Passcini fell bringing Always Fruitful ridden by Russell.

Andrew Lynch was taken for x-rays on a suspected fractured jaw while Day Russell damaged his right wrist.
