No worries at all for Sunset Shiraz (2/11 into 1/7 fav at the off) in the Irish EBF Median Sires Series Fillies Maiden as she recorded an easy success.
Gary Carroll kept things simple on the 104-rated daughter of Time Test, placed in four Group races at the Curragh including the Moyglare Stud Stakes, and she made all the running to account for Princess Azure (6/1) by six lengths.
Winning trainer Gavin Cromwell said: “Job done. She was very straightforward, Gary said with all the racing she's had she felt as good there as she did any day in the year.
“She's a good hardy filly, we'll put her away now and aim for a Guineas trial in the spring.
“She handled that soft ground no bother and she's a very straightforward filly.
“Her pedigree suggests she'll stay further, she stayed well there, and she's not short of pace either.”
