The Cathy O’Leary trained Jo Go overcame a five month absence to win the Marie Keating Charity Day Mares Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse today, scoring a half length win under jockey Robbie Power.
The daughter of Old Vic had won her previous start at Roscommon in June and today defied an absence since then to beat off Emma Beag for a third racecourse success, along with a point to point success gained in 2014.
O’Leary was on lead-up duties and was unavailable for comment.
