Janeymac (12/1) was a second winner of the afternoon for Mags Mullins as the chasing debutante took the second division of the restricted beginners' chase in the hands of the trainer’s son Danny.
With the 4/1 joint favourites Rebel Waltz and Thisonesforollie both falling, the Milan mare was able to land the prize very easily indeed, having sixteen lengths to spare at the line over Epsilon Indi
Placed just once from nine starts over hurdles, this was a good effort from the winner who didn’t have any point-to-point experience either.
Winning rider Danny Mullins remarked: "All credit to Pat Farrell who owns her as I came in the last day and said she's not one to keep going with, but he said he'd like to give her another go because she had shown sparkles of form.
"She is in the sales next month and I'll have to have a word with him now to not send her! I think I could win a few more on her. Our other winner today (Gunfire Reef) is in the sales as well.
"She had an awkward jump at the first but was very efficient after that and it was a nice performance."
