The first divide of the 45 to 65 HOLLYWOODBETS Handicap at Dundalk saw Jackmel follow up on his course success from a fortnight back.
Victorious over a mile then, he was back to seven furlongs here, but he’d already triumphed at this track and trip, in November 2018.
Kevin Smith ’s charge was backed to go in again as well, finding a starting price of 4/1 from an opening show of 11/2.
The second favourite short-headed Royal Scholar (strong finisher) with a length back to Iseebreeze in third. Billy Lee did the steering on the victorious Bushranger gelding.
“It's nice to put two back to back with him and Billy reckons there is another day in him. He likes it up here,” said Smith.
“I've had the licence two months and that's my third winner so it couldn't be going any better.”
