Jackaroo digs deep
Jackaroo battled gamely to land the August Handicap at Dundalk under a strong drive from Joseph O'Brien.
The Ballydoyle runner had to dig deep to grab front-runner Elusive Ridge inside the final furlong and then had to shake off the attentions of Northgate
The Galileo colt stuck on well in the closing stages to post a head success.
"He did it nicely and was in a lovely position. They didn't go very quick. He handled the track well," reported Joseph O'Brien afterwards.
