Islanmore wins for Leahy/McNamara
Last season's Champion Apprentice Emmet McNamara recorded his 14th win of the season at Killarney today when partnering Austin Leahy's Islanmore to win the McGillycuddy Aluminum & UPVC Tralee Handicap.
Afterwards Leahy stated “I'm delighted to train a winner ridden by Emmet McNamara (son of fellow Limerick trainer Eric McNamara) and he said he liked the filly so hopefully there is room for improvement. I've no plan from here but she may go to Galway next.”
