Ishvana foils gamble
Bible Black was all the rage for the opening 2yo auction maiden at Dundalk but the 2/5 favourite (available at 5/6 this morning) had no response when headed inside the final furlong by newcomer Ishvana
The Aidan O'Brien-trained filly, an easy to back 6/1 chance, edged right in order to gain an opening over a furlong out and in the process made contact with Naseem Sea resulting in a stewards enquiry.
Seamie Heffernan 's mount was confirmed the length and a half winner from Bible Black, who had made most of the running, following the enquiry.
