Course-specialist Irwin completed his third win in four runs this year when landing Dundalk's BetVictor Loyalty Club Handicap for trainer Joseph O'Brien and jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle.
The son of Australia's only defeat in 2021 was at Leopardstown in April but either side of which gained wins at the Co Louth venue in January, September and today, when beating Sense Of Worth by half a length.
Brendan Powell, representing trainer O'Brien, later reported “it was a nice performance and Dylan said when he steps up to 1m4f he’ll be an even better horse.
“He travelled lovely, he kicked and Dylan said he put his head down and kept galloping.
“He’s a big horse and Joseph just gave him time to grow into himself. He seems to be improving all the time so it was obviously the right thing.”
