Instinctive scores for Hughes
The Dessie Hughes trained Instinctive ran out a three length winner of the Meath 1996 & 1999 All Ireland Champions Maiden Hurdle today at Fairyhouse.
The race, in common with the earlier two was thick in fog but Roger Loughran made virtually all to record a three length win over Oscar Close
Winning trainer Hughes said afterwards: “He did it well and he had two nice runs in the Spring.”
“I’ve no idea where we’ll go next it’s going to be hard from now on. We’ll probably go for a winners of one or a handicap.”
“I think he’s going to make a lovely chaser in time.”
