Inistioge scores in good fashion
When 1/2 favourite, Weapon's Amnesty exited the contest at the seventh last, the Glenview Stud Beginners Chase was opened up and one of only two mares in the contest, Inistioge took her opportunity well under Andrew Leigh.
The daughter of Supreme Leader hit the front before halfway and Garvan Donnelly's mare kept galloping well to see off Taradoun by three and a half lengths.
Leigh said: "She is a lovely filly and she'll get further. Conditions there were no problem to her and she is a nice filly to keep an eye out for over the winter."
