The Pat Flynn trained and in-foal Little Sweetheart made all for a fifth career win, all over five furlongs, in the Kiltale Juvenile Hurlers Handicap at Navan today.
Ridden by Danny Grant, the daughter of Lawman showed her usual early speed and in the end stayed on strongly for a two and a half lengths win over Batteroftheboyne.
Flynn later stated “she's a fantastic filly and we've always liked her. When she was young we thought she'd be very good but she wasn't finishing off her races but she's finishing off now but is in foal and will only have one more run.
“She'll go for the listed race in Cork in two weeks time and if she got her head into third (for black-type) it would be great.
“She's in foal to Starspangledbanner (Group 1 winning sprinter), so you can't get much faster!”
