Trainer Georgios Pakidis recorded a second Irish winner at Dundalk this evening when his well backed Togoville (11/10f) maintained good recent progression to win the Floodlit Friday Nights Rated Race, under Gary Carroll.
Togoville provided Polish ex-jockey and Pakidis, formerly based in America, with his initial winner on December 5 and while the gelding was narrowly touched off since, today coasted to an effortless four lengths win.
Afterwards Pakidis stated "he won well and keeps improving.
"I knew he was in the form of his life and knew he would have no problem winning this race.
"We'll look forward with him, step him up in class and see what happens. We'll see how he is in the next couple of days and he'll tell us when he's ready to run.
"He's healthy, sound and happy so we won't stop with him. He loves Dundalk."
