River Eden (9/4) was in a different league to her rivals in the Hollywoodbets Proudly Sponsors Dundalk Ladies Day Maiden.
A Barrier Trial winner at the track a fortnight ago, the daughter of Invincible Spirit was cantering behind the leaders as the field turned into the straight.
A nice gap opened up for rider Declan McDonogh at the two furlong marker and his mount cruised to the front shortly afterwards.
The Sun Bloodstock-owned filly, trained by Joseph O’Brien, went right away in the final furlong to win by eight and a half lengths from Captain Attridge (6/1).
McDonogh said: “She’s nice, very natural and a real cruiser. There was never a moment’s worry really.
“She settled lovely and did everything right. I think after the Barrier Trial she has matured mentally so she’s in a good place.
“She’s a lovely filly and I’ve always liked her. I’m not sure what the plan is but she looks good.”
