Gordon Elliott's Farouk D'alene built on his "incredible" homework as he impressed in Down Royal's bumper.
The four-year-old gelding was an expensive purchase after easily winning his point-to-point in March and looks to be a horse with a very bright future.
He made all over today's two mile one trip and readily went clear of the opposition with over a furlong to go. The winning margin was clocked at 17 lengths for the 4/6 favourite. Mig Des Taillons couldn't land a glove on him in second at 11/2. The Mayne Man finished third at 20/1, beaten 22 lengths by the winner.
Jockey Jamie Codd was effusive in his praise as he said: "He won a point-to-point last year at Belclare for Donnchadh Doyle and his work has been incredible at home.
"We expected him to win and he's done that, he's another monster for the Gigginstown machine. They buy some beautiful young horses and he's another one to add to the collection."
This sealed a double for Elliott who also won on the card with Isle Of Destiny
