Impressive Contingent has Smullen 4 off now

We saw at least two nice juveniles when Contingent made a winning debut from fellow first-timer Alghabrah in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden (Plus 10 Race) at Leopardstown.
Winning rider Pat Smullen is now four behind Colin Keane as he bids to retain his champion jockey title.
He likes 9/4 favourite (from 3s on track and bigger earlier) Contingent plenty too, judging by his reaction crossing the line as he patted her down the neck. The daughter of Frankel accounted for Alghabrah by a length and three parts.
"She just could be very good, and it takes a good filly to win from stall 18. She has a lot of class and is a lovely big staying filly. She also has plenty of pace," said successful trainer Dermot Weld.
"Obviously that's it for the year, and we will review everything in the spring. She is a beautiful filly to look forward to. She wouldn't have any problem on any ground."
Betfair have introduced her at 25/1 for the Oaks.
