Imco Finally Gets There
Johnny Murtagh followed up his win on Soap Wars when making all in the Pelican Marquees Maiden on Imco Spirit
On his fifth attempt to get off the mark, all of which have come at this venue, the even money favourite (from 2/1 in the morning) put this race to bed when ridden clear from over a furlong out, going on to account for Hideaway Girl by four and a half lengths.
Successful trainer, Ger Lyons said: "He is a horse I've always liked and he'll improve with time." (EM)
