The Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the bypassed hurdle in the straight involving Satwa King (FR), ridden by Ian McCarthy and Sister Moira ridden by Barry Geraghty, where it appeared Sister Moira was checked.

Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found that I.J.McCarthy had ridden carelessly and therefore suspended him from riding for 2 racedays.
