Michael Hussey has had a 14-day suspension imposed on him for his losing ride on My Painter at The Curragh on May 4 reduced to eight days on appeal.

Hussey, who was riding My Painter alongside the stands' side rail, was initially banned for 14 days after admitting that he had not seen the half-length winner Bobby Jean, who was racing on the opposite side of the track.
