Michael Hussey completed doubles for himself and Aidan O’Brien when market drifter Exuma (13/2) won the Sneem 3-y-o Handicap.
The Galileo colt, a winner over a mile at Limerick last month, tracked the leaders before hitting the front over a furlong out.
The 5/2 favourite Earl Of Tyrone who was apparently struggling at the rear of the field turning for home, kept on well in the final furlong but was half a length adrift at the line.
Hussey’s earlier winner was on promising Ballydoyle 2-year-old Luxembourg and the double paid a little over 25/1.
Exuma is a half-brother to 12f Listed winner Curly.
After partnering his third winner of the campaign, from just 16 rides, Hussey remarked: "He was up in trip today and will stay further again. He idled when he got there but won well at the line.
"Seamie (Heffernan) is back on Saturday (from suspension) so I'll take the chances."
