Hurry Kitty registered a first jumps win at Wexford today, landing the Tintern Abbey Handicap Hurdle for trainer Liz Doyle and seven pounds claimer Jonathan Moore.
The daughter of Derby winner High-Rise had previously won a Killarney bumper in 2014 and was making it seventh time lucky over hurdles, scoring by five and a half lengths from Cousin Bill
Doyle later stated "I thought she'd go close; she ran a cracker the last day and this was a lesser race and Kent's mare (Thanks For Tea, winner of her previous race) ran really well again yesterday, so I thought we had a right chance.
"She is improving, she is getting the hang of the jumping thing and jumps really well. We will go again with her and she will stay further. She settled very well with plenty of cotton wool in her ears today!"
