The James Sheahan trained Hurricane Ben (5/1) overturned 8/11 favourite Theatre Princess when landing the Tote Rewards Hunters Chase at Tramore today, scoring under Jamie Codd.
The son of Beneficial was produced with his challenge by Codd in the dip and the pair moved past Theatre Princess before the final fence, eventually scoring an easy win.
Sheahan wasn't present but Codd, who is chasing his second Point-to-Point Jockeys' Championship and leads Barry O'Neill by six winners (46-40) in that sphere, later stated “the shorter trip suited him and he has just been waiting for nice ground."
