Hughes/Loughran take opener at Naas
The opening race at Naas this afternoon, The Annual Membership Maiden Hurdle was won by the Dessie Hughes trained Lurgan ridden by Roger Loughran and owned by the Clashbeg Syndicate.
Loughran settled his mount in behind the leaders, ridden to challenge before last and stayed on well to lead close home holding off the Willie Mullins trained Drive On Regardles on 1 ? lengths.
