The in form Dessie Hughes yard celebrated a quickfire double this evening this time with the consistent Laura´s Light to win The Tommy Scanlon Bar & Restuarant Handicap Hurdle with conditional rider Ian McCarthy in the saddle for well known owner Fred Kenny.

Laura´s Light was ridden along and under pressure from 2 out but given a strong drive by McCarthy to pass the long time leader Allesandro close home and win by a good 2 lengths.
