The opening race this afternoon at Fairyhouse, The Bobbyjo Bistro 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle was won by the Dessie Hughes trained Flag Of Honour ridden by Paddy Flood and owned by the winning trainer and Ged Pierse.
Flood was always prominent on the Alhaarth gelding, ridden clear travelling well approaching 2 out and kept on well to win by an easy 7 lengths.
Hughes said afterwards, "He jumped well today, he didn't jump well last time out although he was schooling brilliantly at home. We will go for a winners of one at Leopardstown with him next."
