Howard/Dunne In Form
Aidan Howard and Robbie Dunne followed up their success with Enter The Indian at Gowran yesterday when So Billiant came out best in a big field in the Newmarket Handicap Hurdle. The 9/1 chance held off Skip Two by a neck.
It was the owner (Michael Rogers) first winner since 1973, that being a horse called Mignon in Dundalk under Buster Parnell.
Howard said: "The drying ground suited. The trip was perfect, all he does is gallop and he is very genuine. He had a few jumping problems and Robbie suits him." (EM)
