Friendly Society completed a double for trainer Michael Hourigan when landing the concluding Martinstown Opporunity Handicap Chase at Limerick. Uncle Tom Cobley attempted to make all in the 2m3f contest but was strongly pressed down the straight.
Adrian Heskin launched a challenge two out on Friendly Society and a fine leap at the last soon propelled him into the lead.
The Moscow Society gelding stayed on strongly on the run-in to score by a length-and-a-quarter. 5/2f Code Of The West failed to pick up back in third.

Hourigan had also been on the scoresheet earlier with False Economy
