Horoscope bounced back to winning ways, on his return to Killarney, when claiming the Vincent O'Brien Ruby Stakes this afternoon.
His Ballydoyle stable-mate Khartoum was a well backed 9/4 favourite in the mile Listed contest but it was the son of No Nay Never who struck at 10/1.
Emmet McNamara produced his charge to challenge front-runner Masen passing the two pole and he had a narrow advantage before the furlong marker.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt stayed on well in the closing stages to post a two-and-three-quarter length success.
Horoscope had made little impact after missing the kick in the Colm Quinn BMW Mile at Galway but had won over this course and distance previously at the July meeting.
McNamara said afterwards:- "He obviously likes the course and distance but today was a good bit quicker than it was when he won in July. It has shown his versatility and he stepped up as well.
"The (wide) draw suited him as he can be sluggish away but I was able to get in a nice position from that bad draw.
“He was slowly away at Galway last time and was constantly on the turn afterwards but today we had the length of the back straight to make up our ground gradually.
"I got there sooner than ideal but he's a horse when you commit him, you have to keep going with him as he can be lazy. I'm very happy with the performance."
