Wayne Lordan produced School Holidays with a well-timed run to land the Fairyhouse Summer Series Maiden.

The David Wachman-trained filly hit the front inside the final furlong and kept on well to hold Smart Striking at bay by three-parts-of-a-length.

"She did it grand and we'll try and get a bit of stakes form into her now if we can," said Wachman afterwards.
