Hees Dynamite proved game in front when galloped on strongly in the closing stages to claim the two-mile-five handicap hurde at Limerick under Calum Hogan.
The Eric McNamara-trained gelding went to post 15/8 favourite in the 80-102 contest and bounced out to make all.
Hogan asked his mount for an effort turning for home and the Ocovango gelding found plenty for pressure in the closing stages to post a length win over Onefortheditch
It was a second career victory for Hees Dynamite, who had also struck over course and distance last month.
"I was a small bit worried they went too quick but when they win they always seem to get it fairly right!” said McNamara.
“The young lad is riding well, the plan was to keep out wide and the horse jumped well.
"He is more of a good-ground horse so I'd imagine Thurles would be the one track where we could get nice ground before the season is done for him.
"I'm delighted for John Earls who has been friends for a long long time and I know all the Easyfix lads too, so it is great."
