Hogan and Curtis off the mark
The Eamon Scanlon Handicap was won by Tom Hogan's Molton Rock ridden by the promising apprentice Ben Curtis for owners Super Six Syndicate. Tom Hogan also trained the second placed horse in the race Frutti Tutti ridden by Fran Berry.
Hogan said, "The winner has had plenty of problems in the past, we were glad to get a win out of him on the sixth attempt. We might go for another 45-60 handicap, he's an honest horse and jumps hurdles well so we might go down that route either."
